Nursery Associate

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic folks to join our growing team. In this role, you will be expected to provide exemplary customer service, helping to make every customer feel welcome at the Secret Garden. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, cash handling, inventory, plant care/maintenance, merchandising, and basic cleaning duties. A typical day might involve receiving a shipment of succulents, watering plants in the Nursery, filing, merchandizing the Gift Shop, and unboxing new product.

Some horticulture/plant knowledge is preferred but an eagerness to learn is equally valuable. If you love plants, getting your hands dirty, and have a passion for helping people, we want to hear from you!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PLANT NURSERY RETAIL ASSOCIATE

• Ability to lift 30+ pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather
  
  

WORK SCHEDULE

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule with no late evenings. 15-25 hours per week. At least one weekend shift is required. This is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement.
